Since storming onto the Dutch music scene in early 2008, Holland based duo Firebeatz have swiftly merited a reputable and solid name for themselves from the start!

Youngsters Tim and Jurre met each other at the School of Arts in Tilburg, the Netherlands, where they discovered their musical chemistry and decided to join forces!
With their distinctly unique sound which boasts infectious bass hooks, insanely catchy vocals, compulsive beats, groove and drive, this house-duo quickly caught the ears of certain famous DJs such as Kid Massive and Jeroenski who helped spread the gospel and gain support from the likes of Fedde Le Grand, Roger Sanchez and Prok & Fitch in the clubs.

Quickly after this, these Dutch house kids got bookingrequests for great festival gigs in the summer of 2009. With performances at Rockit Festival, Outdoor Festival, Free Your Mind Festival and Zomerkriebels Festival and some nice residences at Sound Of Love, Superstars & Club Rex they quickly made a name for themselves in the Dutch club scene.

In 2010 Dutch label Flamingo Recordings, which needs no introduction, picked up this young duo and signed them. Besides the remixes on Flamingo Recordings and their upcoming releases on Flamingo’s sister label Blackbird you can expect some new tracks of the boys this year on NEWS, Stealth, Flamingo, Blackbird Spinnin' and Big 'n Dirty.

Looking ahead, Firebeatz will continue to conquer the dance music world, with their latest JoeySuki collab “Hidden Sound”, - which already got massive support by DJs such as Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, Dirty South, Laidback Luke, Fedde le Grand and Funkerman, - new upcoming original productions, kick ass DJ performances and remixes for exciting names like Gregor Salto, Funkerman, Eddie Thoneick and Robin S, Firebeatz have proven they are on a run to the top!

Another name to remember!
JoeySuki’s energetic presence behind the decks guarantees to get even a tame crowd to go wild! Expect to hear some catchy beats mixed with technical precision by Joey, which will get the crowd to the ultimate party climax!
JoeySuki, born in 1988, is a young up-and-coming DJ/Producer that started creating his own sound from the age of 15. In 2006 he made is debut on the famous Dutch label ‘Sneakerz’, which got big support from DJ’s such as Erick E, Laidback Luke and Sidney Samson.

Producing music really has been a revelation to both labels and artist. The vast variety of remix assignments and collaborations with other big talents create an ever flagrant musical output. At JoeySuki Headquarters the main objective is to build a phenomenal and versatile product with that refreshing feel to it. Originality is of great importance.

With more and more gigs requests coming in from all around the world, there is no way of stopping JoeySuki as he’s a man on a mission....

It has been an amazing summer for Hardwell, playing at all the big Dutch Festivals like DanceValley and Solar, Tomorrowland in Belgium and Sunrise in Poland. This year he made his debut in Ibiza – Spain. Rocking the roof of the Amnesia followed by a night at Privilege invited by Tiesto -  Watch and a “Dirty Dutch Night” next to Chuckie & Sidney Samson at Pacha! There are obviously no limits how far this gifted young Dj/producer will go!

Watch out for his newest releases on Hardwell's new imprint Revealed Recordings. Here’s a heads up, the 30th of August for will the highly anticipated release date of 'Hardwell - Molotov' and it’s a banger! It has that unique Hardwell touch and can be described best as a crossover tech-house tech-trance track. Already wide support from (tech)-house and trance dj's. The package comes with a deeper remix by Franky Rizardo and a peak time electro styled remix by Apster. This is gonna be huge!

 “Voyage” is still rocking the dancefloor wordwide and is on it's way up to becoming one of the biggest crowd pleasers this summer! Now even included on the Toolroom Records Ibiza 2010 compilation. This track cranks up the energy with a short intro before crashing head first into a teaser of the main riff. Techy beats and slick percussion then builds towards the monsterous breakdown where huge synths and an epic melody fill the speakers for a true hands-in-the-air moment. A definite main room monster.

Life is something worth celebrating. Especially a life that has been lived so passionately, intense and selfless as that of Roy Avni, founder of Electronation. After a brave fight with cancer Roy passed away on the night of June 13 having lived a live full of music, mischief and a lot of parties... To honour his legacy of organising and arranging the wildest parties, the best dj’s and cutting edge music the Electronation 8 year anniversary event last Saturday became a special tribute to its founder and his work. Almost the entire Dutch dance scene has shown its support and committed to make this party a legendary night not to forget. Terry Toner, one of the people behind Electronation and close friend to Roy closed the night with an amazing set, together with Herr Arter. Check out the videos here and here!

Last Friday, the 23rd of July, as dawn broke over the seaside surround of Kołobzeg on Poland’s north coast, the Sunrise Festival rised up from the ground. A recent graduate to the global A-list EDM festival circuit, it is the biggest outdoor music event in the country. Now talked about in the same breath as Nature One, Dance Valley, Creamfields and Tomorrowland, it will bring in world-class DJs and acts, and draw in over 30,000 clubbers from every corner to power it through final July weekend.
 
As great as festivals are though they have one substantial drawback: they only last a couple of days. With some well-placed assistance though those memories can last forever and that’s where forward-looking electronic dance music label High Contrast come in. They have teamed-up Sunrise to release the festival’s as-essential-as-being-there 2010 compilation companion…

Nicky Romero will be visiting the Pioneer Dj School exclusively, where he will be teaching a masterclass. Fedde le Grand picked up his track ‘’My Friend’’ and played it at Sensation Amsterdam, which caused a massive breakthrough. Nicky Romero is now firmly established in the Dutch House Scene as a bright young, very promising artist!
Never ones to pass up on an opportunity to showcase the multi talents of a rising star DJ/Producer.. Anna Agency has the pleasure of announcing the addition of DJ/Producer Nicky Romero – exclusively to the Anna Agency roster.

Nicky hits the first snare drum at the age of 6 and started playing drums in a fanfare. After playing a year or three, he’d been asked to play in a huge group who had acts on street and big events. That was fun though, but not enough for small Nicky. At the age of 12 he got is first set of drums and started practising, practising and practising. Well, after 3 years playing drums every day and night, it was enough and he changed the drums for turntables...
These day’s almost every high rated DJ has a few Romero records in his bag, with remixes for artists such as Ian Carey, Dirty South, David Vendetta and Sidney Samson this DJ has definitely left his mark in today’s house music scene.
He just finished his new track “My Friend” which reached #4 at the Beatport Overall Chart and #1 at the Beatport Progressive Chart. Supported by DJs such as Tiesto, Axwell, SHM, Mark Knight, Funkagenda and Fedde le Grand, who he also is working very close with at the moment! So watch out for some new upcoming collabs and remixes from Nicky for Mister Le Grand!

The Shapeshifters are Simon Marlin and Max Reich. Party people at heart, the pair met when Simon signed Max to the Down Boy record label that he worked for. Musically, Simon found his enthusiasm for house on the dance floor in the late 80’s and early 90’s promoting nights and DJing, while Max got into production via a passion for techno, honed whilst throwing illegal raves in his native city of Gothenburg.
 In 2008 they found a new home at Defected Records, leaving Positiva after 4 years, and have since made their mark at the world’s leading house music label releasing ‘Chime’ – a re-work of the Orbital classic – and the ‘Young Dubs EP’ which included ‘Sideways’ and ‘Nocturnal’. The Shapeshifters currently have a host of new releases lined up for 2010. First up will be ‘Helter Skelter’ which features Steve Edwards on vocals and is due for release in May. ‘Helter Skelter’ is gaining significant pre-release momentum and recently had its first Radio 1 play on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection.
Throughout 2009, The Shapeshifters remixed Natalie Imbruglia’s latest single (‘Want’) and collaborated with Frankie Knuckles on ‘The Ones You Love’ which is out now on Nocturnal Groove. They have also recently remixed Candi Staton (‘Musical Freedom) and have mixed compiled a digital compilation (‘Nocturnal Grooves : Vol.2 – Mixed By The Shapeshifters’) for their own Nocturnal Groove imprint.
Aside from 3 top 10 hit records ('Lola's Theme', 'Back To Basics' and 'Incredible'), a BRIT Award nomination, a bucket full of remixes and productions for the likes of George Michael, Faithless, Frankie Knuckles, Todd Terry, Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis and Moby, the pair continue to produce the goods. They had the best selling house cut on Beatport in 2008 (‘Lola’s Theme (08 Re-Edit)’) and in 2009 delivered remixes for Empire Of The Sun (‘We Are The People’) and Kleerup feat. Titiyo (‘Longing For Lullabies’).

 Their critically acclaimed ‘The Shapeshifters - 'In the House'’ DJ mix compilation was another success in an already impressive portfolio and this year The Shapeshifters have also be mixing the ‘Summerdayze’ compilation to coincide with their recent Australian tour in January 2010. Throughout 2010, The Shapeshifters will hold DJ residencies for Defected @ Pacha (Ibiza – Summer 2010) and at Mansion (Miami) as well as at their long running party hang ‘Nocturnal’, which has recently hosted events at Matter (London) and runs alongside their own Nocturnal Groove label. As well as continuing their extensive worldwide tour schedule, playing shows from Australia to Canada, Europe and South America to the Far East and everywhere else in between, in 2010 ‘The Shapeshifters’ Nocturnal Groove Radio Show’ will be launching online and broadcast through a range of international radio stations.
