Dante Klein

exclusive worldwide

Biography

With his initial release on Spinnin Records in 2015 “Ertesuppe”, the young  DJ/Producer phenom, Dante Klein burst onto the scene. The track was quickly featured in Pete Tong’s radio show along with those of Avicii, Watermat & The Magician. Collabs followed with Sam Feldt, along with remixes for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Kim Churchill. Now with 2016 in full swing, Dante Klein is about to ‘turn on’ the world with his latest release featuring the LA group Cheat Codes.

Dante always had an interest in everything musical, dating back to the pots and pans jam sessions he had together with his sister during childhood. Those ‘instruments’ soon gave way to a real piano and the first compositions were born. At the early age of 10 he got hold of DJ equipment and his life’s passion was discovered. Dante soon followed suit with producer software, and then went on to finetune his skills at the renowned Herman Brood Music Academy in the Netherlands, from which he has since graduated.

Now, still only 20 years old, Dante Klein is setting things alight in quick succession. Shortly after his highlight performance at Tomorrowland 2015, he was asked to remix “Higher Place”, the groovy # 1 Billboard dance track by Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike & Ne-Yo. This was quickly followed by a brooding collaboration with Sam Feldt & Belgian singer Milow, “Feels Like Home”, which became the focus track of Feldt’s EP.

All this has led to the biggest release to date – “Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)” had been secretly gaining global traction on Spotify as an ID track, with more than 2.000.000 streams before its official “reveal” on June 29th. First week of August it hit 40 million, reaching a number 48 position on the Spotify Global charts and a number 21 position with 88 million streams by the end of that month. The track keeps on going strong. This rework of Kevin Lyttle’s hit features the successful LA based Cheat Codes who are currently also enjoying a world-wide hit with “Sex”.

Accompanied by an equally unique extended video, ‘Turn Me On’ is already a dance floor mainstay, on its way to becoming THE European summer anthem of 2016.

DROELOE

exclusive worldwide

Biography

It’s still strange to most. A new act bursting onto the scene, amassing hundreds of thousands of plays in the blink of an eye. Unknown to most, they soon have fans screaming their names and shows around the globe. This is how electronic music superstars are born.

Hailing from The Netherlands and branded with their signature skull, Dutch-duo DROELOE have taken the ‘future bass’ scene by storm. What began with a SoundCloud account–where they uploaded their own music and curated their favorite releases in their “Pokoe Pack” mixes–they soon developed a reputation for creating impeccable percussion-heavy future bass, infused with the catchiest melodies.

Early 2016 they caught the ear of San Holo, who brought them aboard his bitbird imprint, teaming up for a string of successful single releases. “Make My Day” accumulated over half a million SoundCloud streams, but it was follow-up single “zZz” which hit #1 on the Hype Machine where the duo really made their mark. To date, “zZz” has amassed over 5 million streams across all platforms. Tastemakers across the industry, including Martin Garrix, Mr Suicide Sheep, Majestic Casual, Trap Nation, and CloudKid all supported DROELOE.

Since then, the duo has gone on to put together a string of successful official remixes for bitbird, NEST HQ, and Atlantic which have all placed within the Top 10 of the Hype Machine charts. Their official remix of “We Don’t Talk Anymore” by Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez’ has over 3 million Spotify streams and was premiered via Billboard. They followed this with the release of “Shibuya” on Elysian, which solidified their position in the bass realm.

Kris Kross Amsterdam

exclusive worldwide

Biography

Kris Kross Amsterdam (KKA) was founded in 2011 by brothers Jordy and Sander Huisman. At the time they found that the Dutch club music scene was so focussed on techno and house that they sorely missed the music they grew up with.

As the brothers were DJs themselves for several years, they decided to organize a party called Kris Kross where they could actually play their own favorite music.

The party name was a deliberate nod to the famous rap duo that stormed the charts in the early nineties with the classic track “Jump”. From there on, due to the success of the parties, the boys started to get DJ bookings as Kris Kross in their local scene. What followed was a quick rise in popularity so they decided to keep the name Kris Kross Amsterdam as a tribute to the 90s in general.

In an attempt to unite several different musical genres that were buzzing in the Dutch dance scene, a new successful concept was born. With an unique eclectic mix of R&B, hip-hop, twerk, trap and house from all decades the Kris Kross party developed into sold-out events at the biggest clubs in Amsterdam.

In the summer of 2014, Yuki Kempees joined the group as their MC, completing KKA as a performance and DJ collective.

They are known for their all round sound, interaction with the audience, a clothing line and now releasing their own music at Spinnin’ Records.

Mike Williams

Exclusive Europe

Biography

Mike Williams is known as a versatile artist, passionate and fascinated by music from an early age. Recently Mike signed with Spinnin’ Records and MusicAllStars Management, adding an exciting new chapter to his career.

Literally from A to Z; that is the amount of control Mike Williams has over his career. From the first note that he has ever written to the smallest detail in his live shows; the commitment toward everything that his fans get to experience is seemingly endless. As one of the very few artists to break through with a signature sound it has been the distinctive ‘bounce’ that Mike Williams’ has perfected since. And while this was the start of a whirlwind adventure within the global electronic music scene Mike’s true trademarks have always been a sense of serenity and his ever-present modesty.

Mike’s summer of ‘17 is one for the books as it takes him across Europe. From Mysteryland, Parookaville and Tomorrowland, as well as his UK festival debut at Creamfields.

Before that Mike played several shows across Europe before jetting off to America for the Miami Music Week where he played five highly-anticipated shows, including Sam Feldt’s Heartfeldt Pool Party. After the success of Mike’s festivities stateside, he returned to Holland to perform at the annual Kingsday celebrations across his home country. Shortly after Kingsday, Mike played alongside Dutch DJ R3hab at their show in Los Angeles before playing his first headline show at LAVO in New York City.

This all followed a year in which his equally relentless touring schedule led him to perform on the EDC Las Vegas and Ultra Music Festival Miami mainstages. Closer to home, his profile has only continued to grow – he’s played Amsterdam’s 17,000 capacity Ziggo Dome twice, and even hosted his own showcase at Amsterdam Dance Event 2016.

These tours were well deserved after what can be considered as a ground breaking release schedule. Mike initially caught the attention of several dance music labels, notably Tiësto’s Musical Freedom which led to the single ‘Sweet and Sour’ being signed to the imprint and subsequently signed a contract with Spinnin’ Records. Released in early 2016, the record kickstarted the year in a fantastic way, earning support from dance music heavyweights such as Hardwell, Oliver Heldens and Afrojack. But it was Mike’s collaboration with his mentor Tiësto, which really catapulted the young Dutch DJ into the limelight. Released in the height of summer 2016, ‘I Want You’ was met with critical acclaim, achieving over 24 million plays on Spotify alone, and continues to be one of Mike’s noteworthy tracks to date. Following this success he joined Tiësto on tour, performing at superclubs like Hakassan, Omnia and Wet Republic.

During the thriving success of ‘I Want You’ , Mike released his next single ‘Take Me Down’ – his debut track on Spinnin’ Records . A bold display of his production efforts, the dance floor anthem received support from the likes of R3hab, Axwell and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and continues to gain hundreds of thousands of plays online. Building on these great achievements received in 2016, Mike launched 2017 with his single ‘Bambini’. The energetic track was released on Musical Freedom and has become a fan favourite amongst Mike’s supporters and loyal following.

Taking more of an emotive turn with his productions, Mike collaborated with upcoming vocalists for his next two singles. In March 2017, Mike released ‘Another Night’ featuring American singer/songwriter Matluck, which explores a more sentimental side to the DJ. To celebrate the success of the track, Mike and Matluck revealed a special acoustic version of the track. The stripped-back recording was accompanied by a live session video, shining a spotlight on Mike’s accomplished piano skills, showing his musicality away from the decks. Not stopping there, Mike performed ‘Another Night’ with Matluck during one of his sets at Miami Music Week 2017.

In May of 2017, Mike released his single ‘Don’t Hurt’ , which featured the vocal talents of rising singer Br zy. Keeping with the emotive theme of ‘Another Night’, ‘Don’t Hurt’ explores his ability to produce a poignant, dancefloor-ready track.

Mike has also displayed his effortless remixing abilities on numerous dance hits. He’s delivered remixes for fellow Spinnin’ signee Throttle (‘Money Maker’) and Oliver Heldens & Tiësto (‘The Right Song’), both of whom play Mike’s versions live in their sets. Recently, Mike was handpicked by Grammy-nominated duo Galantis to create an official remix of their latest single, ‘Hunter’, while R3hab also enlisted the Dutch DJ to provide a clever rework of his track ‘Trouble’

Growing up in a musical family, Mike was classically trained on the piano from a young age. However, it was creating his own new music that really interested him, and he began working on a laptop using his dad’s speakers and amplifier, learning to DJ in earnest at the age of 12 whilst studying the work of other artists. He began getting booked for events as a teenager, sharing the stage with DJs like Martin Garrix, Jay Hardway, Yellow Claw and Alvaro, all whilst spending increasing amounts of time on his own productions.

To document his incredible journey, he’s enlisted the help of his videographer sister Michelle, who travels with her brother on the road. Shot through the eyes of his sister, ‘On Tour with Mike Williams’ is a monthly look into the life of the producer and shines a light on his hectic schedule as he travels the world. In addition to his video series, Mike curates his own weekly radio show named ‘Mike Williams On Track’ , where he handpicks his favourite tracks of the moment.

Mike’s flourishing music career is a testament to his passion for music, and his dedication to his fans. Together with the international demand for his live performances and several upcoming releases in the pipeline – including a future collaboration with platinum-selling artist Felix Jaehn – Mike is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Equipped for the next chapter ahead, all eyes will be on Mike Williams and what’s around the corner for the young Dutch artist.

His musical experimentation continued with the iconic single ‘Fighter’ , a powerful vocoder driven indie dance single, demonstrating his technical development and incorporating influences from the likes of Daft Punk and Justice.

Having started music production at the tender age of 11, his full range of inspirations runs broad: from the aforementioned classics, to his all-time favorite Owl City. WRLD’s interesting because he isn’t afraid to look for the intersection of electronic music and pop. For him, that’s where the magic is.

WRLD loves his vocals and the ‘Awake EP’ on Monstercat shows the full spectrum. It’s pop yet dance, future and funky. ‘Galaxies’ , out on NestHQ / OWSLA, displays the more pop-influenced side, with Father Dude singing “I wonder how this looks from other galaxies…”.

Prolific as he is, he returned to Monstercat with ‘By Design’ , an experimental drum and bass record, released just before embarking on his debut international tour. The latest single ‘Hideaway’ on Heroic saw him return to indie dance, while capturing his first Hype Machine #1 in the process.
